For a limited time, their best-selling MTB rim, the Serpentine, will be available in matte silver.
The Serpentine is an all-around alloy mountain bike rim designed for trail riding in all its forms. It features a unique 32mm internal width, durable 6069 aluminum and is offered in 28h and 32h rims.
Since the first run of our Polished Silver Outback, customers have been clamoring for more silver options. Polishing is the pinch-point in their production and living in a wet, soggy area, polished goods tend to lose their shine. So, it made sense to try out a matte finish instead. It still meets the neo-retro aesthetic but in a way that eases the production burden and makes sense for how and where we ride.
The release is truly limited, with very limited quantities in stock.
28 and 32-hole rims can be pre-ordered for April delivery.
The Serpentine is a bombproof, do it all mountain bike rim. We improve the stiffness, strength and longevity of a wheel by using an asymmetric (ASYM) rim design than improves spoke tension balance by up to 30%. On the trail, this translates to precise handling you can rely on. Add a 32mm internal width for ideal support of fat rubber.

All Astral rims are Tubeless Easy for tire installation that you can set up with a floor pump.

This order will leave their warehouse as soon as a box of 10 rims is full or at the end of the month and will be shipped directly to you after they are delivered at our warehouse in Germany.
